Collection of the lives of early Eastern Church saints, arranged according to their feast days, combined with homilies and teachings of the holy church fathers. Included are the life of St. Athanasius Athonites (leaf 3a); life of St. Peter of Athos (leaf 67b); homilies of St. John of Damascus (leaf 210a), Theodore the Confessor (leaf 218b), St. John Chrysostom (leaf 231a), Joseph the Confessor, Archbishop of Salonika (leaf 236b), St. Theodore Studites (leaf 240a), Geōrgios, Metropolitan of Nicomedia and Bithynia (leaf 293b). The second part of the manuscript begins on leaf 247 with homily of St. Ephraem Syrus, Encomium to Dormition by Clement of Ochrid (leaf 257a), texts of St. John Chrysostom (leaf 259a), St. John of Damascus (leaf 262a) and other church fathers. Incomplete (beginning and end as well as a number of leaves throughout the manuscript are missing. Without inscriptions. Ornamented headings.
